Green Lightning was founded in Spokane Valley by husband and wife team, Jean and Shawna. The idea began on Earth Day 2019 after picking up trash with our daughter on the Centennial Trail. Discussions continued and it became apparent we wanted to do more in our efforts to be better stewards of our planet, but how?
When the pandemic hit it revealed two things; Jean’s career was no longer fulfilling and yard work was therapeutic for our family. Over the next two years we fused our love of the environment, the enjoyment of lawn care, and a way to serve our community into Green Lighting.
